Times of assistance
Within the sailing season (April 1 to October 1) you can count on assistance 7 days a week between 08.00 and 20.00. Outside the boating season, you can count on assistance on weekdays between 09:00 and 18:00. Having problems on the water outside these times? Then please contact us. If the situation is urgent, we may still be able to help you. The costs involved are not covered by the subscription, but you will be informed in advance as much as possible.
Place of assistance
Before contacting us, make sure you have the right subscription with the coverage area where you lie. The breakdown assistance package provides assistance while you are underway. If you are moored in your home port, unfortunately we cannot help you with this package. You do get this assistance if you have chosen the breakdown assistance module with an assistance package.
If you are on open water, your position is important. Do you have a GPS location? Then keep this handy. If you don't have it, our emergency center can also send a location request via Whatsapp, for example. Without a clear location, it will take longer before we can help you.
Waiting time
We make every effort to provide you with prompt service. Depending on your location, it may take some time for a mechanic or boat to get to you. Moreover, in the high season, when the weather is nice, it is very busy. Because of this, the waiting time can sometimes increase. We ask for your understanding.
Emergency room
The support points we deploy on big water are also intended for emergency assistance. If your report coincides with an emergency call, this call naturally takes precedence. A tow may also be temporarily interrupted to assist people in distress first. We will of course get back to you immediately afterwards, but hope you understand that such assistance has priority.
Unsubscribe
It is common for water sports enthusiasts to find their own solution to problems after requesting assistance. A passing water sportsman may offer assistance, or your ship may still come loose. Please report that as soon as possible via the same phone number (085 3038253), then we can signal our people and move on to the next report.
