Get on board with the team at Vaarzeker and make your hobby your profession today! With us you will work on all types of boats, from sloops to RIBs with 350hp! But you can also get on board and sail with us.

As an all-round technical and nautical employee, you live for challenge and variety. From towing a stranded boat from the IJsselmeer with a super fast RIB, to solving an engine failure in the country with the service bus. With us, no day is the same and we can't tell you yet what you will be doing next week. You feel comfortable working independently but can fall back on your supervisor for any questions.

At the end of the day, your efforts have mainly consisted of helping people with problems get back on their feet. You are the saving angel, preventing vacations from falling into the water.

Profile
- You have experience in maintenance and repair of internal combustion engines
- You are in possession of driving license B (BE is an advantage)
- You have an affinity for water sports
- You speak Dutch (German and English proficiency are a plus)
- Experience with boats is a big plus
- Boating license 1 & 2 is a plus
- You live in the region of North Holland
- You are representative to our customers
- You are willing to work weekends or evenings on occasion

Example work
- You will be on the road with our service bus to fix malfunctions on site. This will take you all over the country
- Sometimes clients are adrift on the water. You take our auxiliary boat on trailer, to sail from a suitable location to the customers and help them there
- You will perform maintenance on our existing fleet of vehicles and vessels
- You will think and collaborate on the new construction of our fast RIBs
- You will sail along as a passenger on our RIBs (350hp and 100km/h). With sufficient experience you can also become skipper
- A customer has run aground on the IJsselmeer. Together with the skipper you get on board and quickly go in that direction to tow the boat loose.
- During quiet periods, you will collaborate on improvements in the office
- You will help salvage sunken vessels
